Wedding pianist in Glasgow
Below is a sample itinerary of your wedding day. You can download it here.
I can help you organise your music for your wedding and advise you on what music to choose. The timings are for a 2pm wedding ceremony.
1.30pm Arrival of your guests.
Piano music before the wedding ceremony creates a relaxing atmosphere as your guests arrive. This can be played in the foyer or beside the bar.
2pm The Wedding Ceremony. (30 minutes)
This is the most important part of the day, and usually requires at least four pieces of music.
As the bride walks down the aisle I can play your favourite piece of music, from the Braveheart theme, to Highland Cathedral or the traditional Wedding March by Mendelsohn. I can also play any hymns that are required. Then I can play a modern piece of music as you sign the register, this usually last four or five minutes. Then finally an upbeat song as you walk down the aisle.
1 hour required - £195
2.30pm to 3.30pm Champagne/drinks reception - Part 1.
As you both are out having your photographs taken I can entertain your guests. I will find a spot at the side of the room making sure I am not too noisy but loud enough so that I can be heard. At around 3.30pm guests will normally ask for requests. I can do this making sure fun is had until your arrival back into the room.
2 hours required - £295
3.30pm to 4.30pm Drinks reception - Part 2
3 hours required - £395
4.30pm to 6.30pm Dinner
After the speeches I can continue to play in the background. As the wine continues to flow towards the end of the dinner guests may even start to sing along with me!
£395 (3 hours already played) plus £50 per hour (£50x2 hours = £100) = £495 for the full day (5 hours)
